A Houston campus that was once occupied by California-based Chevron Corp. (NYSE: CVX) for nearly 60 years officially has a new owner.

Houston-based SLS Properties, a commercial investment and development firm, officially closed on the 547,370-square-foot, two-building property at 4800 Fournace in Bellaire on Sept. 26, Danny Sheena, co-founder of SLS Properties, told the Houston Business Journal.

The property is composed of two unoccupied buildings available for lease: a 452,370-square-foot office building built in 1976 and a 95,000-square-foot annex building built in 1965. Since 2005, Chevron invested nearly $100 million in capital improvements to the property before vacating in 2017, per an HFF flyer. Chevron relocated employees at the campus to other Houston properties.
